We purchased the Arlo Arlo Smart Home HD Wirelss IP Security Camera 2-Pack which comes with a router at Costco. We want to get additional cameras, and am wondering if the Arlos Q HD 1080p Wi-Fi Monitoring Camera 2-Pack, also sold at Costco, are compatable. Does anyone have a recommendatin where to buy, that is not Best Buy (very expensive)?

Arlo and Arlo Pro cameras will work with either base unit ( arlo base or pro base )

The Q cameras are compatable and will appear in the same app/web access BUT it works a bit different than the Arlo models

The Q camera hooks directly into your home wifi network, while the Arlo / Arlo Pro link into only the base units ( that hook via etherent cable to your router )

Also, when you go to arm the system you must Arm the Arlo/Pro units and then the Q ( as they appear in the same program but act as separate systems )

As A PS; Arlo / Pro can go outside while the Q is indoor rated only

At costco are about the best prices you'll get
