Motion Distance, from far away doesn't work

HI there, ideally I wanted my camera positioned to capture my whole back yard, which it does in the video frame. however, I notice, from far away say 50ft or so, while I might be in the cameras view, it doesn't trigger to start recording. I included an image, I highlighted in red where I thought it would trigger, people peeking/jumping over wall. People around my gate. I even tried waving my arms in the green area and nothing was triggered.

I will tell you that the aprox MAX range for people with the Arlo camera is about 20ft +... that's about it

IMO, your attemping to cover to large and area esp if you want to the camera to trigger at the wall.
