Getting cameras to work outside

The cameras work inside but not outside. Can't get a live screen shot although I'm literally 10 feet from the base station outside. Signal strenght shows as high - inside and outside the house. What a joke. Any resolutions before I take it back?

i and countless others have no problem using my came outside (about 10-15 yards from my base station).

indoors, how far from the base station can you go before you lose signal?

Is there anything special about the wall between your base station and the cams outdoors?

Don't forget about anything in that straightline path. Mirrors, metal ductwork, wiring, home construction all gets in there.
