How do I set motion distance?

How do I set motion distance so it does not pick up the cars. Is the lower seting less distance?

1) Angle the camera down a bit so cars aren't visible .... cover a smaller area

Cars are big reflectors of IR which is how the sensor works.... people detection maxs out at about 20ft

2) lower the SENSE level in the mode your using

Go to MODE, pick your mode your using, click on the > to edit, pick camera and then edit, pick RECORD on motion and edit again , you will see a slider bar.

After ajustment to a lower/higher level, back up one page and SAVE ( on bottom )
