No... any camera ( Arlo or Arlo Pro ) will link to any base....

Reset you current base with the power button ( off- on )

Let it come back online ( about 2 mins )

Push the base sync butoon QUICKLY ( don't hold ) and then 2 sec later push the camera sync button.

PS..keep the extra base as you can 1) expand the area you cover with two bases , syncing closest cameras to each 2) use the base in a second location ( still for free if you use total of 5 or less cameras )

I have a two camera set-up that seems to work fine but I wanted to add a third camera.
By mistake I bought a compete 1 camera unit with base station.
Since the price as the same as an individual camera, I decided to keep the gear and just use the camera.

Problem is the camera will not sync with my current set up. The blue led keeps flashing slowly.

Are these cameras only matched to specifc base stations at the factory and not interchangeable?
I have serched the web for an answere but cannot find any reference to this specific problem

Thanks, TVNB
