How many hours will the camera stay powered and send a signal to the monitor?

Using the system to monitor a horse that is going to have a baby. Well lie area. Should I turn off the motion detector which takes a picture to prolong battery life. How many hours will the camera stay powered and send a signal to the monitor? We need to monitor all nite.Thanks, Leslie

Sorry to say if in Live view the SW will auto shut down at about 30 mins... this is to prevent someone forgetting and leaving on therby draining battery.

You have to refresh to keep it alive. or leave it armed to detect motion ( don't know how much motion a horse will do at birthing time tho ?? )

A Q camera might be a better choice. It's powered and uses your home WiFi so a WiFi extender can be used to increase the range of the connection. I believe I've used live view for over an hour so it should work for you, too.
