Just purchased a two camera setup from Costco. One camera synced and the other won't. What's up Doc?

Open and close battery door to reset camera, attemp re-sync

Do a quick push on the base sync button make sure you don't hold.

Yep. Did that. I even replaced the batteries. I am going to turn everything off and try to sync the faulty camera first. It's odd that one synced just fine.

One other question: are the cameras identical on the pro except having audio capabilities?

NO... similar

Arlo uses 4 123 cells and a single PIR device for motion detect ..also a bit smaller in size, no audio

Arlo PRO uses a li-ion battery pack and a dual PIR device ( better response ) for motion. It has 2x audio

As a PS... Arlo works down below -4F so if in a cold climate it may be better choice( even tho response to motion is slower ) as the PRO will shut down at that temp.

Either camera will work on either base so you can mix-match
