    <description>&lt;P&gt;I assume its switching to b/w to night vision mode when cam senses not enough light.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you go into the cam's settings, under video, you can turn night vision off but will probably find in poor light not very good video (assuming this is why its switching to b/w)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Turning night vision off won't affect the switch between color and B&amp;amp;W. It only affects whether the IR illuminators are used.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;you're right of course but I was thinking along the line that the night vision recordings were being reported as b/w by poster.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
