topic Recording rules question with cross triggering in Arlo

I have a couple of cameras that cover my driveway and front door. I have them set up so:
Driveway cam detects motion and records driveway cam 30s
Front door cam detects motion and records front door cam 30s
Driveway cam detects motion and records front door cam 45s
Front door cam detects motion and records driveway cam 45s

This allows me to see which of the cameras has detected the motion.

Anyway, what I've noticed is that if either of the cameras have depleted batteries, the other one doesn't work at all. I expect that if the driveway camera battery is flat, the front door would still detect motion and record but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Anyone else noticed this or have a solution? Does the order of the rules make a difference?

Hi Steve... that question was asked of the higher ups a while ago, but we never got an answer (TMK)

I will escalate this topic and find out if this is expected behavior when cross-triggering rules are in use. I will post an update once I have more information.
