Arlo camera new batteries not working

So the batteries went out a few weeks ago, and i ordered some replacements that took a long time to get in. I swapped out the batteries, and the camera still shows that it is offline due to dead batteries.

Does this mean that it's dead? It's only been 1 year since we bought them. Would love to get this one camera back up and running.

Open and close the battery door, go into settings and pick camera, Use REMOVE DEDIVE under that camera.

Now Bring the camera back as if new ( resync )

An issue I noticed is with the Eastshine 700mAh batteries (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CHX06YC)

The positive terminal is too short to make contact with the Arlo. 😞
