How to turn off funky text messages

After replacing batteries in the camera, I started receiving a funky text message in addition to the pop up notification. How to I keep the pop up notification and turn off the following text message:

I don't know the specific reason for this but I'd try the following, not necessarily in this order:

- power cycle base

- restart phone

- try a browser

- reinstall app

Are you using your phone number as an email adress to get text ?? ( since Arlos only do push and email, not text )

The only time in past I have seen similar is the provider failing to strip out the html when converting to SMS
