Firstly,I would like to know why all my January 2016 clips have disappeared. No i was not over limit.

Secondly, how does one access this 'Cloud'. I do not pay for extended service, just using the free service.

Thirdly, is there a means of recovering a deleted clip?

The more I read about this 'Cloud' the more confused I get since I am way out of touch with what you geeks are talking about.

Thanks for your help.l

1) Since you're on the free 7 day plan, any videos older than 7 days are automatically deleted. However, we're only 4 days in to February at this writing so, if there were any videos on Jan. 29-31, they should still be available by clicking on the arrow top left of the library display (next to the name of the month) to see the previous month.

2)You simply use the app or browser to check the library. you must use one or the other to do so - it's not accessible any other way.

3) No, deleted videos are permanently deleted. My strong recommendation is to never delete any and to proactively download any videos of interest to save them from being deleted.

The cloud simply means that things (videos in this case) are stored remotely rather than on your computer or phone so they can be accessed from anywhere. If they were stored on, say, your computer but you were away from home you'd have no access to them. This way, only Internet access is required to see what's going on.
