topic Lag Time Issue in Arlo

Why is there such a long lag time from when the camera detects motion? It doesn't start recording for about 2-3 seconds after someone walks by and by the time it starts recording, the person is gone from view. It makes the camera pretty much useless if it takes that long to detect and record. Any suggestions? Any fixes?

Yes there is a lag with the Arlo cameras but this lag can be overcome with placement. ( this btw, was fixed with the Pro )

For a couple of my cameras I had to place the camera away from the location of interest so the person walking IN would start the trigger event and then I would capture all the the person at my door and then leaving... allowed me to overcome the lag and still make the camera very useful.

Also, don't try to cover to large an area, try and make the traffic cross the field of view, and adjust sense level... it took a few days to get it right.
