I will have to get model later. What my issue is, after hooking up the internet and power wires to the base station, the base will not sync. I have tried two in the same area, both do this. I hooked up a laptop to the internet cable and get service, so I know the cable is working. I have reset both. I have three other bases in other areas and they work great. Is there a possibility that I have two bad bases? Is there any thing I might try to fix this? Thanks

Is it the base not getting internet or the cameras not syncing ?

If the base isn't getting internet , can you go directly into the Modem etherent port ( bypass your router for a test ) ?

What are the left three leds doing?, they all should be green is you have power , interent, and cams sync'ed

If the problem is the cams not sync'ing, remember it is a QUICK push on the base sync button not a 2 sec hold.

If the Internet LED is out, it has no connection to the router, implying a bad cable or port. You say you tested the cable but have you tried a different port on the router or switch?

I have switched out ports. Plus hooked up a laptop to the cable and have internet access. No green light on base.

Swap one of your working bases over to that cable ( where the current base doesn't connect ) If the second base gets internet, then you have a bad base.

If so, contact Netgear Support

Or, if new enough, swap at the store.
