I'm not totally clear on the situation but it would seem that the PC would have to be running a router/bridge configuration so the Arlo base would get an IP address from the PC. The dual NICs would then bridge to the corporate network. However, the corporate router would have to allow access to the Arlo servers, using ports 80, 443 and 123 to arlo.netgear.com. Thus, the issue of configuring the Arlo base requires multiple steps, some of which would require IT involvement.

While they wouldn't like it, what's keeping you from adding a small switch to the computer's network feed to allow multiple devices to be plugged into it? That would bypass the computer issue completely. If that's a no-go, raise the issue through IT management. Some coordination with customers is necessary or maybe the IT service needs to be changed.

Because of our network security, we cannot connect the Netgear base station directly into the internet. IT insists we connect directly to a pc. So, I have a pc with 2 NIC's and can plug the base station directly into the pc via ethernet cable. The pc is running Windows 7. How do I get the pc and the camera (which connects to the base station) talking? Is there some software that I need? Lost and confused. Thank you.

Is that PC connected to your LAN? it would be much easier if the just opened up a port, apply a couple of policies on that port if it sits behind a firewal, and your done.....

The pc will indeed be connected to the network. However, we cannot just open ports. That would have to be done by IT (they are very strict). We want to remote into the pc from other locales and see what the camera sees. Appreciate your help.
