    <description>&lt;P&gt;I noticed if I'm viewing live feed on the Arlo wire-free it will not send out a alert. &amp;nbsp;DO all the camers work this way or only the battery operated? &amp;nbsp;Also, does the Arlo Q work this way as well (I have one on order).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Veiwing on LIVE VIEW mode over-rules the other set modes...&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;TMK, there is no need for an alert as your watching live and can trigger a manual record if wanted&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I have had other systems and thus us the first I have seen that will not send out a alert just because it's in live mode. Just because it's in live mode does not mean your always looking at it.</description>

&lt;P&gt;No, it doesn't...but it also shuts down live view automatically at 30 mins to preserve batteries... it is what it is.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;BTW, viewing or recording uses the same battery power.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
