Arlo Q, normal camera and Pro cameras alerts

I noticed if I'm viewing live feed on the Arlo wire-free it will not send out a alert. DO all the camers work this way or only the battery operated? Also, does the Arlo Q work this way as well (I have one on order).

Veiwing on LIVE VIEW mode over-rules the other set modes...

TMK, there is no need for an alert as your watching live and can trigger a manual record if wanted

I have had other systems and thus us the first I have seen that will not send out a alert just because it's in live mode. Just because it's in live mode does not mean your always looking at it.

No, it doesn't...but it also shuts down live view automatically at 30 mins to preserve batteries... it is what it is.

BTW, viewing or recording uses the same battery power.
