Unfortunately got an old company iphone 4 and the app requires IOS 8

Can you force a browser to use the desktop version over mobile... at least it will allow you to operate system ( tho apple doesn't like flash )

sometimes the App Store will install the last version that works on your phone. maybe Netgear prevents that from happening, I know DirecTV made people's iPads and iPhones obsolete (on DirecTV) by doing that.

If you had a previous version that worked and you have synched that phone with your PC, you will have that previous version on your PC. That is another work around.

Hope something works for you. See if different mobile browsers can help, too, as TomMac suggested.
