&lt;P&gt;That response generally means that the device you are trying to register is linked to a past account... did you buy a used unit?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Either way, it requires a call to Netgear to release the unit so you can install it under you account.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;While what TomMac says above could be a possibility, also be sure the device you are using (in your case your cell phone) is connected to the same WiFi network as the base station.&lt;/P&gt;
