VMS3130 arlo hd security camera setup w/smart home base station

I have a ZTE ZMAX pro cell phone and I've run the installation multiple times and I continually keep getting the same response. It says unable to claim this device. What am I doing wrong? Help me please!!!!!

That response generally means that the device you are trying to register is linked to a past account... did you buy a used unit?

Either way, it requires a call to Netgear to release the unit so you can install it under you account.

While what TomMac says above could be a possibility, also be sure the device you are using (in your case your cell phone) is connected to the same WiFi network as the base station.
