I get alerts for motion detection but no recordings are made, I have set the rules up for 25 s recording time on motion - am I doing something wrong ?

It sounds like your system may be using one of the old modes. Is the mode listed named as 'ARMED'?

If ARMED is not listed, your base station probably needs a firmware update that should correct this issue.

Try restarting the base station...it may take a day to take an update.

PS.. if a reboot doesn't work like above, do a reset of the base... Hold in the rest for about 10 secs till the leds flash amber, let it boot back up and re-sync the cameras.
