Thanks! Once we were able to upgrade the firmware, it all worked. I would recommend to anyone else who has this problem to check their internet speeds, as fundamentally this was our problem.

Several problems actually:

1) I'm getting notifications but no recordings- I reset the system and reloaded the cameras. This made no difference. I deleted and then added back the app. This made no difference either.

When I did this, in searching through the discussion boards I noticed two things:

1) my iOS app ( and I have latest updated version) does not appear to have the "armed" and "disarmed" modes, only the "all motion on" "all motion off" and "geofencing" beta

2) the firmware on the base station is still 1.4.2695 so it appears it did not automatically upgrade to the latest release in October (1.8 something). When I ask it to check for updates, it says none available.

So 1) if correct that base station did not update, how can I get that to happen?

2) will that solve the problem of the system notifying but not recording?

3) will that solve the problem of the iOS software also not having the correct mode settings.?

thanks

Do a factory reset of the BASE...

hold in the reset button for about 10 seconds till the front leds flash.

let the base reboot

After check the SW version...

If still older, power button reboot the base and wait....sometimes it takes over night to update ( use to , not sure now )

#1 above

#2 yes, should

#3 yes ( those are the old defaults from late 2015 , new ones are ARMED /DISARMED.. after delete the old defaults )
