ARLO BATTERIES THAT CAME WITH THE UNIT

I just bought this two pack with base at Costco....love the product...works great however I have only had it 4 days and already my battery life is down to almost half.....why...? Please advise. Is there a certain setting I should use to save the life.... I have the units (2) on all the time with motion detection and night vision. advise and thank you.

You may need to tweak the resolution, sensitivity, and the recording durations to get your optimal battery life. I have had mine since Thanksgiving and with highest resolution, 80% sensitivity, and 40 second average clips...I still have 70% battery remaining. We average 20 clips a day/night.

How many recording a day is each camera doing?

Battery life is spec'd at about 5 minutes a day = 30x10s recording per day.

A friend of mine has one installed at his business and his cameras do over a 100 recordings a day and his battery life is about 2 weeks.

Also, make sure that you never turn off the base, the cameras will continue trying to communicate with the base thus flattening the batteries.
