      <description>I was told to go to solutions but it did not come up. Can I treat this camera as defective and return it to Bes Buy???</description>

      <description>that is one option you have. try this before, it has worked for me. I think it is the "night vision" sensor and you need to "tap" on it by taking a battery out when you are in a lit environment. this turns it off, obviously. next, in a dark environment like under a blanket or in a dark closet, put the battery back in and let the camera reset. leave the camera in the dark environment and check the picture in the app. then bring the camera back into a lit environment and let the sensor switch by itself. repeat this a few times, it doesn't take the first time usually.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've had to do this twice, I've owned this system for a year. I think their sensor is flawed and this is just a software issue. toggling the sensor between dark and lighted environments has made it work for me.</description>
