Very short battery life with wirless camera

I replaced batteries in three cameras recently. One of the cameras burned through the new batteries in 2 days (the others are fine). This camera in the past used batteries about twice as fast as the others but this is way too much since the batteries are too expensive.

I have good connection to base station. Do I need to replace the camera or can it be repaired?

Any hints appreciated.

If it is just one camera that has the issue, consider swapping the location of the affected camera with a camera that is behaving as expected to further isolate. It could be an interference issue at the location of the camera that is causing the camera to struggle maintaining a connection to the base station.
