To be fair, Armed has only been around for a year and was not present for about a year starting from the initial release. It took a major update to add it. All Motion On should have been deleted at that time but that's another discussion.

My camera is connected to the base station and I have all 3 green lights on. The camera has 91% battery and I can see live motion but it will not record and has not recorded anything for over a month apparently. My settings say all motion on for recording. I've reset the camera and the base station. I see in the forum that many people are having this issue with no solution that I can find. This is a horrible customer experience by the way, my other camera died just after the warranty expired so this is the only camera I have left and now it's useless. A year and a half into ownership of your $300 system and I have no camera recording ability.

First off, are the running men for your cameras in the Devices tab black or gray? Gray mean disarmed and you'd need to check your modes and rules in the Modes tab. Second, if they're black, exactly what mode is selected? You mentioned "all motion on" which implies a mode from last year. Since the big change at the end of last year, the default mode is called Armed. The old All Motion On mode has given quite a few folks problems and should be deleted after making a new mode to your liking with the same settings. While I wouldn't bet my life on it, I'll wager that's likely the issue.

This fixed the problem for me, thanks. Very confusing and I didn't even think to look into or recognize what "Armed" mode was. How odd of them to introduce a new mode.

What you should really do is create your own mode that suits your needs the best
