Interesting...

I have only about 9 feet between the camera and the hub and the bars are always full. There is a 2.4GHz baby monitor in the 2nd floor but it's not too close to the camera or the hub.

I realized some of my video clips are not 10 seconds. Multiple videos are less 10 seconds today. I know the dynamic recording time is under development for Arlo. However, is this feature just released in the server end today?

That can be caused by an issue with the WiFi connection between the base and camera or between the base and server. The former is more likely due to the regular appearance of the issue. Check that the cameras have good signal and that there's no wireless devices using the 2.4GHz band is nearby.

When it's safe to do so, turn off the baby monitor at both ends and trigger some recordings. Any difference?

Thanks for the reply. It's not happened often so I think I will just skip to test it. I was just wondering if the dynamic record time was implementated recently. Since it's not yet. Wondering if anyone knows when it will be available for Arlo wire-free cameras. It would be a really great feature I want it a lot. Thanks.

It's available for the Pro cameras but not the original. However, it's not working properly since motion continues but recording stops at1 second shorter than the previously chosen time (e.g. 9 seconds instead of the selected 10).

Engineering is investigating this issue. This feature is still under development at this time and users should select a predefined length for recording until this feature is officially released. We will be removing this feature until it is ready for release.
