My Arlo cameras force me to upgrade whether I want to or not, Is that legal? In addition, the upgrade never succeeds the first time around so then I have to get out my 10 foot ladder, retrieve the camera, put it 2 inches away from the base station so it can upgrade, and then put it back. All because Netgear is fixing problems I don't have. How do we let Netgear know that upgrading the cmaera firmware should be OPTIONAL, or as a minimum, done when it is convenient to me, not it!

Rick

How far away is the affected camera and what is it's signal strength?

Are you seeing this issue with all cameras or is it a specific camera behaving this way?

It sounds like the signal strength to the affected camera could be an issue if the update completes successfully after bringing the camera close to the base station.
