In addition, Can we actually get the details of how to resolve the problem of installation for the most current base station update? I have made numerous attempts to update my arlo (base station with 4 Arlo cameras) update the base station and cameras since 11/24 but to no avail. Repeated attempts with resets and 'opened battery doors' but system still is kot able to update either. Anyone else experiencing this issue? My system is useless in regards to eating live video as the need for the update blocks access to that functionality. Thanks.

I also have not been able to get the Base Station firmware to update. I have tried all the suggestins of turning off and back on. I have even removed the device, reset it and started from scratch. I have gone thru the steps to manually install the firmware, but when I go to Device Info > firmware I get "No updates available" with both the base stations and cameras.

Both of my base stations have 1.7.3_5005 and all four of the Arlo cameras have 1.2.4941. I know there have been updates since I boutght the system in September.

Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Those of you who are having issues receiving the update, who is your ISP and what are your upload/download speeds? Poor internet speeds could be the cause of the issue.

That's gonna be a problem with this system, period. I'd suggest a different system altogether, perhaps one that just works within your own network.
