Arlo cameras use a PIR to sense motion.... this will not work thru most ( 95%) glass. But you can manually record and or view thru glass.

The Q cameras us pixel base detection..see changes in view, this will work thru glass and are ac powered for indoors.

With both above, you can't use the IR illuminators as the IR will be reflected and wash out the picture .
