Hope for HomeKit?

Is there hope for connectivity with HomeKit? Why is there a 4th LED out of 5 (left of the USB LED) on the Arlo Wireless base that appears to be some sort of home type link? From what I see on the new Arlo Pro Base there are only 3 LED's for Power, Internet, Cameras. Seems a little strange.

Let's hope so, support for HomeKit is a requirement for any home connected device for me going forward.
