Arlo base station sync not working

First time setup, following camera sync instructions, press and hold base station sync button for 2 seconds and waiting and waiting for up to ten minutes for the sync light to light up and nothing. Have tried this 5 times without any luck. Tried to sync a camera while waiting for the base station sync light to light up figuring that perhaps the led sync light on the base station was defective, however camera lights Amber. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

Current process is to only briefly press the sync button for <1 second. That should do the trick.

Yes the instructions are incorrect in telling you to hold the sync button for 2 seconds. All set and working now. Thanks.
