I bought a 4 camera system in July and bought an extra camera last week. I installed it today, but I can't make it work.

Peter,

What actions did you take to connect your new camera to the base station?

Did you push the synch button on the side of the base station and then push the synch button on top of your new camera?

If you did that, did you see the blue light blinking on the front of your camera or not?

Knowing the steps you took to synch your camera to your base station will help to understand if you missed something which could be the problem or not.

I did everything that came with the instruction sheet, just like I did with the other 4 cameras the first time I bought the system.

Rather sounds like a faulty camera. Can you return it to the place you bought it for a replacement? If not, a trouble ticket would be in order.
