Can I use this with the New Arlo Cameras?

Can I take off the shell and screw it directly into the Arlo camera?

You can use any standard threaded camera type mount for the Arlo.. It uses a 1/4-20 if I remember right

In the ad it states " Includes articulated mounting arm or can be attached to standard tripod screw. "

So I would assume it can ( the case ) be removed leaving the standard mount that should work.

On the other side of coin.... the half ball magnetic mount from the Vuezone prob shouldn't be used with the Arlo cameras... the 1) arlo cameras are heavier 2) the new arlo mounts have a more texture finish.

I have use the Arlo cams on the old mount and had a little bit of slippage .... I was lazy so rather than replace, I used a dime size piece of balloon under the Arlo cam which solved the slippage.
