Good news is the recycle bin SHOULDN'T ( not supposed to ) count against the 1GB total.

Bad news is netgear house-keeping to clean out the recycle bin has been slow ( which can actually be a benni if on the 8th day you need something deleted )

I am on the 7 day free plan. My cameras stopped recording today the 30th because I ran out of space. For some reason files older then 7 days haven't been automatically deleted. All of 22nd is still on there.

Can it really be this slow? It hasn't deleted the 22nd or 23rd. That's two days it's behind.

I just counted all of the clips that I have for 7 days, it is 1080. I multiplied that by the clip size which range from 600kb to 900kb (I did 850kb) and got 918mb. So for some reason it is counting the older days. I will wait one more day and see if it starts recording. What happens if it still doesn't record tomorrow? Is something wrong with my account?

make a call or trouble ticket direct to Netgear

btw; yes every 10 secs is aprox < one MB so you number of 1k+ is right on.
