Is there any electrical item that can make these cameras not record? Can an intruder bring a device in with them to make the cameras not record?

If a intruder was able to disable your internet service i.e.: cut the cable line etc. the cameras will not record. In order to record the base unit must be connected to the Internet. Also I would guess that a sophisticated wifi jammer may cause the base and camera not to communicate.
