My Arlo system is in a cabin that I do not live in. Being out in the woods the power experiences frequent short power dropouts.

When this happens my Arlo base station will not reconnect to the routeruntil I do a manual power off/on on the router.I have connected the router and the Arlo base station to a UPS, however, the problem persists.

Any ideas?

BJ Rogers

rogersbj@cox.net

Modem, too? The UPS should take care of the power outages but all network equipment must be on it or all bets are off. Also be aware that there is typically a very small switching time between detecting loss of power and battery cut-in. More expensive UPSes eliminate this by always running off the battery all the time.
