      <description>Nope. Base station is mandatory. There is also one Netgear router model that can be used as an alternative to an Arlo base station.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, note that if you have no Internet connection, Arlo won't work.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Possibly, but you'd have to get additional devices to make a connection from the Arlo base station to your iPhone's hotspot. So, something that is capable of transitioning from wired Ethernet on the base station side to your iPhone wirelessly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What those devices would be, I'm not familiar with. However, others have reported getting Arlo to work with a wireless hotspot, so it's apparently possible, though I believe they used a dedicated hotspot device, not an iPhone. You may have to search further in the forums to find their solutions.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
