Arlo Wireless 3230 -- Can't find "Preferences" under "Settings" on website

Just bought and set up base station and two cameras. The online manual says:1. Log in to your Arlo account at arlo.com/login 2. Click or tap Settings. 3. Under System Settings, click or tap Preferences. I see something called "System" which is grayed out. No sign of an option called "Preferences." Anybody have a clue as to what's going on here?

Those grayed out headings (Device Settings, Account and System) are just section headers. It's the stuff under them that you can click on and change.

"Preferences" is verbiage used in an old version of the UI. The features that were there have been consolidated into other parts of the UI. This is no longer a category within the Arlo settings.

According to the user guide, management of storage is in Preferences. If everything has been moved out of Preferences, where has storage management gone?

The manual your prob reading hasn't been updated for whatever reason.

The option to manage the settings for storage has been removed since the SW change in Jan 2016. As of that date, the management of storage is automatic based ON DAYS ONLY OF YOUR SERVICE LEVEL. ( tho also listed elsewhere that there is a GB limit based on service, this has not been enforced so the need for actual management is mute )

Works like this , Basic (free ) is 7 days of recordings, On the 8th day, day #1 is auto deleted. If you want any videos, before the 7 days past, just download them to you local computer / device.

( for the $ levels, it's 30 days and then 60 days but they auto delete in the same way. exp; 30 days, on the 31st day, day #1 deleted automaticly )
