    <description>&lt;P&gt;They're sealed unit so, yes, that should be fine. I have a couple that are directly exposed to weather. Be aware that sitting on the ground invites dirt/debris to be splashed into the motion detector and lens, affecting performance and view. Maybe mount it on a short pole of some sort (there's lots of mounts out there with the standard camera mount screw of 1/4-20) or build a short platform to sit it on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can I leave the arlo camera out in the yard? It will just be sitting on the soil in the yard so it will be exposed to the weather (sun, rain etc).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
