Time Zone does not stay set

i live in eastern time zone (-5 gmt) and each time i change to this it goes back to los angeles california.

Is this a bug?

How to keep it to what it's been set to?

To further narrow down the issue, please provide the below information requested:

1. Are you updating the time zone via the Web or Mobile App?

2. If on the Web, what internet browser are you using?

3. If on the Mobile App, what phone and OS version do you have?

4. Are there any error messages?

5. Does the switch of time zone happen after clicking or tapping on "Save"?

Looking forward to hearing from you so that we could see what is causing this.

Using the app on the web

IE11

No error messages

After selecting and saving and rebooting base it comes back with Los Angeles not NewYork

Thank you @ebsjrsl for providing that information.

When you say you had reset the base station, are you referring to pressing the Reset button on the back of the Base Station?

I will perform testing on my end to see if I'm able to replicate what you are experiencing. I'll keep you posted with my findings.

no i am not pressing reset on base station.

on the page where i change, save the time zone there is a restart button. i am taking it that in order to apply the change permanately you must restart.
