Already have an Arlo Q, how to link Arlo add on

I have the Arlo Q setup on my home wifi and am trying to add an additional Arlo. Do I need to go back and setup the Arlo first to the included router and then add the Arlo Q so that I can see all cameras on a single app?

You're simply adding devices to your account. Add the base using the Add Device button on the Cameras tab and sync the cameras. Everything will automatically show up in the app together.

From your title it sounds like you might have a Arlo Q and an Arlo Add-on camera. The add-on camera will not work unless you already have a wireless base station as part of an "Arlo Wireless System", which is separate product from the Arlo Q. The Arlo Q will not act as a base station for the wireless cameras.
