topic Using two base stations without a paid subscription in Arlo

I have only four arlo cameras presently, but I purchased them in two separate bundles because I needed two base stations due to the structure and shape of my home. I want to connect the second base station to a repeater (range extender), but Netgear requires me either to set up two separately managed accounts or to purchase an Elite subscription, which is excessive for me, as I don't need 60 day archiving or support for 15 cameras. I don't understand why the Premier subscription covers 10 cameras but only one base station. I would seriously consider upgrading to the Premier subscription if Netgear would only allow up to two base stations on it. Any chance of that ever happening?

There is no limit on the number of base stations that you can have on the free Basic Plan. This does not require a Premier or Elite Subscription.

To add an additional base station to your existing account, click on the "Add Device" button on the cameras screen and follow the on-screen instructions.

For more information on subscription plans, take a look here: What are the available Arlo subscription plans and how much cloud storage is available?
