My Arlo Q VMC3040 camera is no longer detecting and recording sound and movement, but it does work in live mode. I've reset the camera, but it still doesn't detect sound or movement. The settings are correctly configured for sound and motion modes.can you help? thanks

same thing happens to me. This is horrble. Ive never had these problems before with the old version. It makes me angry and im thinking about going to different cameras. I can only see live feed but sometimes that doesnt work either. pisses me off.. This new app is for the garbage... its frustrating to use it anymore... I rely on this for daily use. and now i cant rely on it at all.

My Q is pointed out a front window and constantly records motion (audio detection is disabled). Try recreating the camera rules in your various modes to see if that helps. If no help, post screenshots of your rule(s).

I figured out if you keep it on arm away from your dashboard it shows your movement detection.. I still don't like it... When I tap on it to go live sometimes it tells me it's already connected and it won't go live... And it keeps booting me off and telling me to sign in... 😩

I still can't go live when I want to... This really really efn sucks. I hate this. It's so frustrating.. why did you have to change it. Your going to force me to stop using Arlo .. ... I need to connect live in order to watch my dog go outside. ....I can't. I can't go live. I have to go outside in 10* weather with him. What good is this???? It's no good to me anymore.. it said I went live but it never took me to the live ..it would last for a half a second and it won't let me connect I'm sick of this crap... I have four different cameras... When I click on the One camera that I need it tells me that all four of my cameras went live but I never saw it... This is ridiculous... 😡

You can try removing the camera from the account and adding it back on. The Arlo Q is EOL, so if you already preformed that troubleshooting step there is not any further steps that I can provide.
