    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure that this belongs under any specific camera, but there doesn't seem to be any "General" category. The document&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://kb.arlo.com/000063512/How-to-set-up-an-Arlo-Custom-Mode" target="_self"&gt;How to set up an Arlo Custom Mode&lt;/A&gt; is very confusing. I suspect that the article is wildly out of date and needs to be removed so that it doesn't lead others in circles like it did me. If this is correct, please tell the administrators of dozens of 3rd-party web pages that provide out-of-date information about custom modes that Arlo decided to change the UI and that they should edit or remove those pages so that users who want to add a friend don't waste weeks attempting to follow all of the obsolete instructions online.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Actually, this is a new FAQ (note the date of 9/23/2025 at the bottom), indicating that custom modes seem to be getting closer to rolling out for the new UI. I haven't heard of a date yet - we'll prolly all be surprised.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
