Suggestion: AI Theft Detection for Business Use

I’ve been using Arlo for my business for years and overall I’ve been very satisfied. However, I noticed that Arlo doesn’t really promote its cameras for business use, and the website mainly highlights home security.

That said, I think there’s a huge opportunity here for Arlo to support small and medium business owners like myself. One idea in particular:

👉 AI theft detection — for example, detecting when an employee is removing cash from a register but not putting it back, and sending an alert.

If Arlo’s AI could go beyond motion detection and actually analyze specific business-related behaviors, I believe many more business owners would adopt Arlo as their go-to solution for store security.

This could include things like:

Cash register theft detection (motion without deposit).
Unusual lingering around safes, drawers, or backroom doors.
Alerts tied to store hours (after-hours movement near registers).

For businesses, this type of AI would be a game changer. I’d love to hear if anyone else feels the same way, and if Arlo has plans to expand in this direction.
