I have no idea how to determine what model Arlo I have. It's a camera. It says "arlo" on the side. The sync button is on the bottom beside the micro charging port. There's a sticker there that has A562077WA5BC6 and a QR code that when scanned returns the same number. It says Open Here in microscopic print and using tweezers shows a label:

made in vietnam

address for Arlo in Ireland

R 020-200065

T 0200034020

IP 65

The instructions online vary on how to find the model and require me to KNOW THE MODEL because it's different for each model.

All I want to do is make these things work. Since nothing else seems to work I'm trying to reset them, but that requires knowing the model. I feel like I'm having a stroke.

If the camera opens, then take it out of the housing and remove the battery. There's a label behind it.

If the camera doesn't open, then look closely at the seal around the charging port. See if there is a VMCxxxx label embossed on it. This is hard to see - tilting the camera to get a reflection helps, and you might need to take a photo and enlarge it. If this is an outdoor camera that doesn't open, then it would be one of the Essential Gen 1 cameras.
