Can I use the Arlo vmb5000 in Sweden that was purchased in the USA. Can the adapter be used in Sweden?

Yes.

The power adapter has a US plug (Type A), not a Europlug. The adapter label also doesn't go up to 240 volts.

It might work despite the label, but it would be better to get a Europlug adapter that has the same output.
