Are you referring to the threaded mount in the camera or to a screw used to hold the magnetic base?

Has anyone had this problem before with the mount base part? It's hard remove and insert its CR123 batteries. Don't want to break this expensive camera. 😞

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. 🙂

The mount in/under the camera next to the battery cover door that is connected to a stick mount to a screwed vertical wall/tree/whatever. Something like https://community.arlo.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/32919i8A94EC5A522438A7/image-dimensions/2000?v=v2&px=-1 and https://bgr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/arlo-life-pro.jpg.

@ant wrote:

The mount in/under the camera next to the battery cover door that is connected to a stick mount to a screwed vertical wall/tree/whatever.

In other words, the mount screw. The screw is part of the mount, not the camera.

First try detaching the mount by unscrewing this part (grabbing the two white tabs): If it is frozen you could use some WD40.

You can also hold this ring with a pair of pliers, and then rotate the camera to unscrew the mount.
