I have been looking at boards here and see that this issue has been going on now for over three years and absolutely nothing has been done by Netgear to fix this issue even though they have know about it for years. Please let me know if I am wrong about this and there is an actual fix before I replace all my switches to a more reliable brand. I don't accept downgrading Java to Java 7 or older.

I don't even have Java installed and it works fine. Are you referring to Flash instead? That's required for a web browser to use live view.

You mention switches in your original post...are you referring to a NETGEAR switch or an Arlo product? What device are you using that you're experience an issue with?
