topic AMBER ALERT! AKA: One Possible Fix If Your Camera LED Is Solid Amber on Arlo Base Station VMB3000 in Arlo

So I woke up this morning to the camera LED being a solid amber on my Arlo Base Station (VMB3000) and both of my cameras down. Turned out they'd been offline for the better part of two days. I first tried powering off/on the Base Station and then re-sync'ing the cameras and that failed in that the Base Station's LED remained a solid amber. Obviously I cannot guarantee the following will work for you, but here's how the issue was ultimately resolved for me (with help from a rep on Support Chat - shoutout to Frank #46025):

1) Power off Arlo Base Station

2) Power off your router

3) Power on your router

4) Once your router is back online, power on your Base Station

5) Once your Base Station is online attempt to sync camera(s) to Base Station (see manual if unsure how to do that). If successful and your Base Station's Camera LED stays solid green great; if not, and your Base Station's Camera LED is still solid amber, then:

6) Perform a Factory Reset of your Base Station (see manual for instructions if unsure how to do that)

7) Once the reset is complete, open up your Arlo app on your mobile device

😎 Go to Setting --> My Devices --> Base

9) Select Remove Device for your Base Station (The Power LED should become Solid Amber)

10) Go to Devices

11) Select Add Device

12) Select Base Station

13) Once your Base Station is discovered select Continue

14) Name Your Device (Both Power and Internet LEDs should be solid green)

15) Sync your camera(s) (again see manual if unsure how to do that).

16) The Camera LED on your Base Station should now be solid green, your cameras should be sync'd and you should be good to go.

Hope that helps.
