    <description>&lt;P&gt;I've had the essential free wireless doorbell for a couple of years now. Just recently, I've gotten a new modem with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.&amp;nbsp; My doorbell will not connect to the new modem.&amp;nbsp; Only enabling 2.4GHz on the modem is not an option.&amp;nbsp; Will a factory reset resolve the issue? If so, how do I follow through with the reset?&lt;BR /&gt;Or will I need to find a new wireless doorbell compatible with my new modem?&amp;nbsp; Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;FWIW, the simplest approach here would have been to set the new gateway up to use the same wifi network name and password as the old one used.&amp;nbsp; If the doorbell is still in your account, you could try that.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Did you switch to a different internet provider?&amp;nbsp; If not, do you still have the old gateway?&amp;nbsp; Or did you return it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There was equipment upgrades in my area and was sent the new gateway.&amp;nbsp; I have already returned the old one. I will try to use old wifi name and password later today. If unsuccessful,&amp;nbsp; any other recommendations?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I appreciate your help, thank you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you do either, change the settings back after the install attempt.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem and have a wifi 7 modem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Disabled band steering - no joy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Also disabled 5GHz and connected mobile to 2.4 GHz - no joy&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there anything else &amp;nbsp;I should do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I deleted/uninstalled the doorbell from "devices" in the app and reinstalled it.&amp;nbsp; It was an easy fix to get it to connect again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
